Yes. GS-1C is free for personal use. Resale is prohibited. Grunt Spades is an independent publication, not government doctrine.

What is ready today?
Free rules, a beta scoring app, invited pilots, and a local club model being tested in North Arkansas.
Can I buy products or sponsor equipment?
Physical product sales, paid preorders, and table-kit sponsorship payments are closed. GS-1, GS-2, and GS-3 digital books are in development; release dates will be posted when each edition is ready. Each is planned at $9.99. GS-1C stays free. Equipment plans will be announced when confirmed.
What is a recognized local club?
A recognized club can teach, play, score, lead, and keep records under one standard. The manuals use “sanctioning” for this recognition. The provisional local phase has no membership fee. Sanctioning does not create a franchise, employment relationship, or government affiliation.
Who runs Grunt Spades?
3rd Floor Standards, LLC, an Arkansas-based, veteran-owned company founded by R. B. Porter. A host listed on the Events page is a host for that session; it does not imply a broader endorsement.
Where do Field App scores go?
The beta keeps records in the browser on your device. Clearing browser data can erase them. Save any important scores before clearing it or switching to another address.
How does the interest form use my information?
We store the name, email, and any optional organization or note you submit so Grunt Spades can respond to your request and send the updates you select. The form collects no payment. We do not sell contact information. To correct or remove a submission, email gruntspades@gmail.com.
