A Grunt Spades pilot at 8821 JW Clay Blvd. Planned capacity is 12 players at three four-player tables, with a separate table for check-in, instruction, and overflow. Advance registration and walk-ins are planned. End time is not confirmed. Eventbrite registration and social media promotion details will be posted when available.
Recent field report
Each pilot helps us improve the teaching, materials, and community experience.
About ten people attended. One full table played and rotated. The session showed how a familiar game can make room for both friendly competition and social connection. Player feedback is helping us improve the explanation of Nil and other rules.
Tournament status
Grunt Spades tournament operations are being prepared and field-tested. When the first open competition is confirmed, this page will carry the date, location, player requirements, format, registration link, and prize information.
